First Russian non-legionnaire appears in Belarusian hockey
A 36-year-old Aleh Malashkevich has become the first Russian who is not affected by the limit of legionnaires in Belarus. It became possible thanks to a new decision taken by the Belarusian Hockey Federation.
According to the decision, foreign hockey players will not be affected by the legionnaire limit if they spend at least 15 years playing for our country.
Let us remind you that the Russian forward of “Neman” has been playing in Belarusian clubs since 1993.
