Jury Zakharanka votes under police escort

Jury Zakharanka, who was detained this morning in Homel, was transported to the polling station by the police.  The observer Zinaida Shumilina has informed to BelaPAN that Jury Zakharanka appeared at the polling station No. 13 of the Soviet district under police escort. The presidential candidate Mikalaj Statkevich's representative was returned to the pre-trial detention center after he voted. He was placed in  the detention center upon the accusation of petty hooliganism.
