Justice ministry looks to shut down women's party
The Belarusian Women's Party "Nadzeya" (Hope) has found itself at the verge of liquidation, reports Charter'97. The party representatives are summoned on September 12 to the Supreme Court to have a preliminary discussion with the lawyers from the Justice Ministry. Officials say the party has violated laws in its operations and ask the highest court to shut down the organization.
