Kastusyou: Lukashenka mentions me not to lose support in Shklou District
A presidential candidate Ryhor Kastusyou was the only candidate mentioned by Alyaksandr Lukashenka in his speech. The state leader called the BPF candidate “the only honest” person among the candidates at the All-Belarusian Congress. Kastusyou commented on it for Euroradio and noted that Lukashenka had mentioned him twice at the All-Belarusian Congress.
Kastusyou: "Lukashenka pronounced a threat addressed to me on the first day of the congress but journalists did not pay attention to it for some reason… Speaking about the lustration, he told officials: “Do not be afraid, nobody will be imprisoned. They are more likely to get jailed on their own”. Maybe he decided to correct the mistake later…”
In the opinion of the BPF Party’s candidate from Shklou District, Lukashenka tried not to keep the support of fellow countrymen with the help of the positive remark.
Kastusyou says that he does not know how the state leader’s speech is going to affect his image – positively or negatively. The candidate says that there are both negative and positive comments on the Internet. He will assess it with the help of meetings with electors. The next one will take place in Krychau on December 8.
