Moscow in no rush to ink nuclear power plant project with Minsk
Moscow has refused to sign an agreement with Minks on the construction of a nuclear power plant in Belarus, reports European Belarus.
Russia will agree to sign only when a joint Russian-Belarusian venture to sell electricity from the nuclear station is founded.
Earlier, the Belarusian leadership was expected to draft a package of documents on the nuclear power plant project by late July 2010.
If the nuclear power plant is to be constructed with the Russian loan, Moscow eyes 50 percent of electricity sales from the station.
