Official Union of Writers refused to accept 700 literati in the last 4 years

“Literati” praising the President in their works are not accepted in the official Union of Writers. The head of the union Mikalai Charnihets has told ERB about it. Mikalai Charnihets: “We did not accept five or six people who built all their work on such praise. Even the President would spit at such verses. I remember there was a candidate who came to praise the President and the authorities. Addressing all those who were against the President and the authorities he wrote: “Let a lightning strike in your pants and blow everything up there”. Of course, we did not accept him. We do not need such people”.

According to Charhinets, about 700 people were not accepted to the Union of Writers in the past four years.
