Homel region democratic forces summarize results of "For Fair Election"
The activists of Homel regional coalition of democratic forces conducted a meeting on December 26 in Homel.
They summarized the results of the campaign "For Fair Election" and set priorities for the nearest future, reports BelaPAN.
"The main conclusion of the "For Fair Election" campaign is that there have never been elections in Belarus and the situation is still the same. Observers could not watch the process of vote counting, commissions did not react to their complaints, voters turnout has obviously been artificially increased. Now we need to solve a question which strategy to choose to overcome stagnation of the situation and achieve some progress", — stated a coordinator of the campaign Vasil Paliakou.
He has named several priorities in the work of the democratic forces coalition - unity of the opposition, actions, solidarity with the detained, informing citizens, resistance to the attempts of discrediting the events which took place at the Independence Square in Minsk on December 19.
