There are a few times more vacancies than official number of jobless people in Minsk

The number of registered jobless people was 0.3% of economically active population as of June 1. 3286 jobless citizens were registered in the placement service on June 1, 2008.
According to employees of the placement service, the labour market is still oriented at workmen. There are 23.402 vacancies offered by enterprises and organizations. 19.381 of them are for workers.
