Volha Nyaklyaeva: KGB officers disrupted an important meeting for me
"I think they appointed a search on this very time on purpose... That means, my telephone line is tapped and they know all my steps", — says Volha Nyaklyaeva. The apartment of Volha Nyaklyaeva, the wife of the ex-presidential candidate Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu, who is now in the KGB detention center, has been searched today.
Mrs. Volha has informed live on air on Euroradio, that the search warrant was made on January 3. "It took them long to come to us", - she said. The search has been conducted by 3 KGB officers. They have looked for certain documents. However, they have found nothing which interested them.
"They've behaved politely. They've looked through Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu's poems. I have suggested they could take his books, but they have refused. They have checked the wardrobes, walked round the room, checked the balcony", — Volha Nyaklyaeva said.
She added that they had disrupted an important meeting for her as they had stopped her right when she had been leaving the apartment.
