50-kilo fougasse is found near railway in outskirts of Minsk

A 50-kilo fougasse has been found in the outskirts of Minsk. The Soviet bomb was 4 metres underground.
It was dug out by an excavator and the dangerous find was noticed only in the truck’s basket. That is why field engineers had “to demine” it.

Specialists say that builders were lucky: if the excavator’s bucket had touched the fuse, a tragedy would have happened. The bomb was delivered to a firing ground and destroyed, informs the ONT channel.
