75-year-old pensioner kills, dismembers woman for stealing $25
The police have detained a 75-year-old man suspected of murdering and dismembering a woman in Minsk, Belarus's Interior Ministry said.
The pensioner confessed to killing and dismembering the woman's body. He would throw the separated body parts into a trash container, but only the legs were later found.
The police noted that the detainee was earlier convicted for having threatened the same woman, but was not jailed. The man maintains that he killed the woman because she had allegedly stolen Br50,000 ($25) from him, reports Interfax.
