About 80 people evacuated from hostel in Minsk because of fire
About 80 people were evacuated from the hostel located at Batanichnaya Street in Minsk this morning. The press-secretary of Minsk city administration of emergency situations Vital Dziambouski has informed BELTA about this.
The inhabitants of the 4th and 5th floors were evacuated due to the fire which started in one of the rooms. The fire damaged the property at 5 square meters.The fire was prevented from further dissemination by the special fire alarms, included in the alarm system.
The fire rescuers extinguished the fire totally and saved the host who was delivered to hospital with burns of 5% of his body. The reason for fire is unknown yet.
