Action "Ask EU for really effective sanctions" is taking place
The organizers of the action are convinced that embargo for export of the Belarusian oil products to the EU will cause bankrupcy of the regime in 2-3 months. They also claim Lukashenka will become absolutely useless for the Russian oligarchs.
The organizers suggest sending special explanatory messages to the European organizations.
Ladies and gentlemen!
Here we are appealing to you in the name of the people of Belarus.
We are very grateful for the sympathy with which the states of the European Union perceive the falsification of election results and the mass reprisals in our country.
However any censures, diplomatic applications and visa sanctions concerning the ruling regime of dictator Lukashenko will be useless, while in practice the European Union directly supports this dictatorship with money.
Lukashenko's dictatorship exists mostly due to processing and sale of cheap oil and diesel fuel from Russia to the countries of the European Union. The majority of other enterprises in Belarus haven’t been modernized for over 20 years and their products are not competitive.
While the residents of the European Union buy Belorussian gasoline and diesel fuel — they practically pay for the bullets that murder well-known Belorussian politicians and journalists, pay for the clubs that beat Belorussian peace demonstrators, and pay the salary of the jailers who torture the democratic presidential candidates in Belarus.
In Europe, it costs on average 20 Euros to fill a 20-liter gas tank with Belorussian gasoline. Thus, once having filled the car with the Belorussian gasoline each one of you pays for:
● About 2 rubber clubs which will be used in Belarus to beat women, old men and children at peace demonstrations;
● About 1 uniform boot for the employee of the special police that will be used to trample down and beat up the citizens of the country;
● The salary of 1 special police employee for the whole 10 hours of torturing and beating women and children.
Dear Europeans! Do you really wish to pay for all that only because the Belorussian gasoline and diesel fuel are cheaper? What about your morals and Christian values?
We address the deputies of the European Parliament and the governments of the countries of the European Union. Please, stop financing Lukashenko's dictatorship! Place an embargo on export of the Belarus oil and fuel into the European Union! There are enough countries in the world where it is possible to buy fuel without damage to soul and conscience.
Today Belorussian dictator lives off European money. His reign will fall as soon as you'll stop to finance it by buying oil and fuel from Belarus.
Respectfully and with the greatest hope,
The citizens of Belarus.
