Activists collect signatures for Belarusian language on transport in Salihorsk
The youth activists in the town of Salihorsk are collecting signatures for the use of the Belarusian language in public transport. The initial plan was to collect up to 1000 signatures by the end of February, but as of yesterday there were already 1200 signatures.
The campaign organizers also plan to send appeals, demanding a wider use of the Belarusian language in private and government institutions, firms and organizations in the town, reports mfront.net
