Almost 120 road accidents registered in Minsk last week-end

A woman was killed in one of them. The tragedy occurred in Surhanau Street at about 10.15 p.m. on May 8. A 38-year-old driver of a Volvo 460 ran over a 39-year-old woman who was riding a bicycle and tried to cross the street at a pedestrian crossing. The cyclist died in emergency hospital three hours later.

BelaPAN informs that 41 people were detained for drunken driving and 25 – for having no driving license - on Saturday and Sunday in the capital.

157 pedestrians who violated the road rues were objected to administrative responsibility.
