Almost half of inhabitants of provinces have no idea who region heads are
Half of inhabitants of Belarusian provinces do not know who the leaders of their regions are. The results of the latest survey of a sociological centre “Mirror-Info” testify to it.
According to the information, 56% of pollees managed to recall the name of the head of Hrodna Region Uladzimir Sauchanka while 18% did not know it and 26% said that it was difficult to answer the question. 55% of pollees know the head of Brest Region Kanstantsin Sumar while 45% - do not know him and do not remember.
The situation in Vitsebsk and Homel Region is a bit worse. For example, 4% of pollees have not been informed about the fact that Uladzimir Andreichanka has already left for Minsk and mentioned him. A similar situation is observed in Mahileu Region – Barys Batura also works in Minsk now. Only 26% of pollees know the name of his successor Pyotr Rudnik, informs “Daily”.
