Alternative candidates' campaign workers blocked in Brest

Human rights defender Uladzimir Malei said Viktar Chaikouski who works for Mikalai Statkevich's campaign today was detained when leaving his apartment. Activist Aliaksandra Khudasoutsava was summoned to investigators despite the day off and the election day.

Valiantsin Lazarenkau, head of Free Trade Union branch in Brest, is suspected of drug trafficking. Lazarenka reports that he is in the town of Biaroza and is reading the charges.
