Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s inauguration in Palace of Republic on January 21

The event will be broadcast by all Belarusian TV channels. The live broadcast will start at 12.50 p.m. EET.

The inauguration ceremony will take place in the Palace of Republic. A festive concert of arts will be given afterwards.

Let us remind you that Euroradio informed earlier that no important political representatives would attend the ceremony. The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs explains it by the fact that “Belarus does not have a tradition of inviting other states’ political leaders to inauguration ceremonies”.

Ambassadors of the EU member states will not attend the ceremony. They have decided to spend the day in Vilnius.
