Americans present books and video films to Pinsk library

Michael Scanlon, the US chargé d'affaires pro tempore in Belarus, has brought books by classics of the American literature and video films for Pinsk Central Library. They have been added to the deparment of foreign literature. The diplomat stressed that America was ready to cooperate with Belarus in different fields including culture.
Let us remind you that the US Embassy organized “an American corner” in Pinsk library. PCs and about a hundred books by foreign authors were presented then. However, “the American corner” was closed after a diplomatic scandal between our countries.
