Anarchists occupy Belarusian Embassy in Saint Petersburg

A group of Saint Petersburg anarchists have arrived at the Belarusian Embassy affiliate at midday today, on September 29. They demanded to release Belarusian anarchists arrested this month, reports a website "Metro". Having announced their demands, the anarchists have refused to leave the territory of the Embassy and have announced its occupation until their demands are fulfilled.

The organizers of the action reminded that repressions against anarchists and other Belarusian social activists started after somebody had thrown a Molotov cocktail to the territory of the Russian Embassy in Minsk. A previously unknown anarchist group “Freedom Friends” took the responsibility for it.

Three people are still in jail at the moment – Mikalai Dzyadok, Alyaksandr Frantskevich and Ihar Truhanovich.
