Andrej Sannikau to protest in order to make second round happen
The presidential candidate has voted for free Belarus and declared his confidence in the alternative candidates' victory. Andrej Sannikau has come to the polling station together with his wife and son. The politician refrained from direct answer with regard to his choice, saying only he voted for free Belarus.
Andrej Sannikau is convinced that the alternative candidates will obtain more votes than the current country leader. He said that the second round should definitely be conducted.
Sannikau: “Such quantity of alternative candidates would mean inevitable second round in any normal country. If they tell us there will be no second round this will mean they lie. We are going to protest against that”.
The politician added that the election had started only today as the early voting was violence and lies. Besides, 11% of voters voted early at the polling station where Andrej Sannikau cast his ballot.
