Authorities in Hrodna ban ads of Belarusian-language kindergartens
The advertisments of Belarusian-language groups in kindergartens in Hrodna is banned on public transport effective from today, December 17, according to a resolution of the local authorities. Igar Kuzminich who chairs the parents' committee, has been summoned for a conversation to the education department of the Hrodna City Hall.
Kuzminich hopes to sort out this situation with the ads ban during a meeting with Syargey Blazhei, the head of the education deparment. Igar Kyzminich says the ads on trolley-buses were very efficient. Over a dozen of people called him within less than a week.
The ads promoting a Belarusian-language group at a local kindergarten appeared on December 10 in the local newspapers, on public transport and at market places.
