Azaranka wins singles and doubles competitions at tennis tournament in Memphis
Victoria Azaranka has celebrated a double victory in Memphis, USA. The Belarusian was the best in the singles and doubles competitions.
Interestingly, Azaranka defeated her doubles teammate in the final of “the singles” – Dane Caroline Voznyatski 6:1, 6:3.
She and the Dane defeated Ukrainian Yullyana Fedak and Michaela Krajicek from Holland in the final of the doubles tournament — 6:1, 7:6 (7:2).
According to “Pressball”, Victoria Azaranka will set a new personal record and take the 11th position in the world rating thanks to her success in Memphis on Monday. Her best result used to be the 14th position.
