Belarus could face difficulties with nuclear plant project
The soil at the sites picked for the location of the first Belarusian nuclear power plant in the Mahiliou region could possibly be too weak to endure the weight of the nuclear reactor, Alexey Scheglov, the chief of safety department in industry and nuclear energy sector of the Ministry for Emergencies, told a media conference in Minsk, reports Interfax.
