Belarus is No 8 on CIS consumption costs growth list

Belarus became eighth among the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States in terms of the growth of consumprion prices in 2007, reports the Ministry of Statistics.  The growth of costs in this country amounted to 12,1% against 11,9% in Russia. The list is topped by Kyrgistan, Tadjikistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Ukraine with the prices growth figures ranging from 16 to 20 percent, reports Belapan.
