Belarus plans to receive about 4 million tons of Venezuelan oil this year

Belarus is planning to get 4 million tons of Venezuelan oil within the next 12 months. According to BelTA, the deputy director of “Belarusian Oil Company” Alyaksandr Dzyamidau has claimed it. According to him, they are planning to increase supplies of Venezuelan oil to 10 million tons a year in the future.
The first consignment of Venezuelan oil (80 thousand tons) is being processed at Mazyr oil-processing plant now. The second consignment of oil will most likely be delivered according to the existing scheme – with the help of “Odessa” tanker and then by rail.
