Belarus rescuers fight wildfires near three Russian villages

A team of firefighters from Belarus' Emergencies Ministry is fighting wildfires near three villages in Russia's Ryazan region. The Belarusian news agency BELTA reports the work of Belarusian rescuers will be especially tense on August 11, because wind speed will reach 13 meters per second.

On August 10, Belarusian rescue workers put out nine forest and one peat bog fires as well as three dry grass fires in three regions of the Ryazan region.

Besides, Belarus' Mi-8 rescue helicopter has made 9 missions to extinguish wildfires in the Tambov region and is set to be disptached to the Penza region.
