Belarus to sell milk powder to Venezuela in exchange for crude oil
Belarus will sell milk powder to Venezuela in exchange for crude oil. Under the deal signed by a Belarusian government delegation with Venezuelan partners in Caracas, the South American nation will 16,000 tons of milk powder and agricultural machines, including nearly 2000 tractors, reports RIA Novosti news agency. Belarusian experts will also assist Venezuela with building three agricultural enterprises. Belarus has already begun constructing 7000 houses for low-income households on the territory of Venezuela.
Venezuela, in return, will supply 220 million barrels of crude oil in 2011-2013.
The Belarusian delegation included Industry Minister Aliaksandr Selyazniou, Construction and Architecture Minister Mikhail Rusy and directors of several Belarusian enterprises.
