Belarusian "Almaz" celebrates 20th aniversary today
The counter-terrorist special purpose unit "Almaz" celebrates the 20th anniversary today. This unit deals with liberation of hostages and arrest of terrorists, drugs confiscation and VIPs security, informs the First TV-Channel. The Belarusian military men have performed about 10 thousand military operations for the 20-years history of "Almaz". "Almaz" is considered to be one of the most successful special purpose units in Belarus.
