Belarusian butter and cheese to be sold for exporting at commodity exchanges only
The government has taken a decision about exporting cheese and butter at “The Belarusian universal commodity exchange”. The commodity exchange informed ERB that such regulations have been applied to milk for a year. They explained that cheese and butter could also be sold without the help of the commodity exchange but only on condition that the goods were not sold there and at a price that would not be lower that the commodity exchange price.
“For example, some plant sells cheese or butter. It can sell it at the same price without the commodity exchange but only if nothing was bought or something is remaining. However, the price cannot be lowered. It can be raised but it can’t be lowered”.
