Belarusian Metallurgic Plant to invest 17 million Euro into enterprise's ecological component
Belarusian Metallurgic Plant has an intention to invest 17 million Euro into measures aimed at improvement of ecology of manufacture, informs BelaPAN.
Thus, the plant has already signed a 5 million Euro contract with the Finnish company Water Group for reconstruction of gas and dust catching systems, which will allow to sufficiently decrease pollution of the atmosphere with harmful substances and improve the quality of waste waters.
Thanks to the new system there will be an opportunity to regulate burning of carbon monoxide automatically, as well as to use the warmth of waste gases and get the steam of 20 atmospheres pressure. The steam will be used also for producing of electric power which will allow to decrease use of natural gas.
The press-center informs that no financial benefit is expected from this ecological project, its goal is to lessen the damage caused to the environment.
