Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs counts on OSCE to "professionally evaluate" election results
The Belarusian side counts on the "OSCE experts to overcome the manipulative pressure", which occurred after the election, and to approach preparation of the final report on the election process, evaluation of the election campaign and the presidential election results professionally. The press-secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrej Savinykh has stated this at the briefing in Minsk on December 23.
According to him, "the emotional estimation of the people who are in no way connected with the election process", which appeared in the preliminary report of the OSCE experts under the influence of the events in Minsk on December 19, "interferes with direct evaluation of the election process and the election results".
"We are forced to state that illegal provocative actions organized by the opposition minority after the polling stations were closed influenced the tone of the OSCE's statements and the character of their conclusions", — said the press-secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
