Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs hopes to develop relations with Europe after election
The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs hopes to develop relations with Europe after the presidential election, informs BelaPAN. "Of course we are hoping to develop relations with Europe”, - said the deputy Minister Valery Varanetski to journalists in the House of Representatives on December 22. He answered the question whether the European countries’ negative comments about the Belarusian election would affect the relations.
"We are interested in the development of the dialogue and are considering the possibility of realization of many joint projects elaborated by Belarus that are on approval in Brussels at the moment. I cannot comment on the situation in any other way - I should declare our desire to progress”, - said the diplomat.
Varanetski noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs “had to work to develop the dialogue, relations and connections”. “We will be doing it”, - he stressed.
