Belarusian President’s inauguration takes place

The inauguration ceremony of the Belarusian leader Alyaksandr Lukashenka has taken place in the Palace of the Republic.
"Assuming the office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, I solemnly vow to serve to the people of the Republic of Belarus, respect and protect human and citizens’ rights, to obey the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus and protect it and to fulfill my duties conscientiously and piously”, - Lukashenka pronounced the text of the oath in a hoarse voice.

The ceremony was broadcast by all the channels of the Belarusian television.

Let us remind you that Ambassadress of the EU member states did not attend the inauguration. The Ambassadors decided to spend the day in Vilnius.
