Belarusians could have got free Israeli visas four years ago
The absence of negotiations delays the introduction of free Israeli visas for Belarusians. The Israeli Ambassador to our country Zeev Ben-Arie claimed it in an interview with BelaPAN.
According to him, the dialogue between the consular services of Belarus and Israel “has been a failure” for four years despite of the fact that both sides are interested in it.
"We suggested that visas should be made free. However, Belarus has suggested making free visas only for minors and aged citizens”, - says the Ambassador. He noted that there was no such practice in Israel.
Mr. Zeev Ben-Arie claimed that Belarus had made an unofficial suggestion about free visas for citizens of both countries. “The suggestion may be discussed during consultations. It would take a long time to elaborate such a project even if the suggestion was approved”, - claims the Ambassador.
