Brest City Day to be celebrated for four days
The Programme of celebration that can be found in the website of Brest City Executive Committee testifies to it. An employee of the ideology department of the City Executive Committee has explained it to ERB: Employee of the City Executive Committee: “We are celebrating the day on July 28th. This is the day when Brest was liberated from German fascists. However, it is a workday and people are at work, so the main events will take place on Saturday and Sunday”.
ERB: "But 1+2 makes 3, why does it say four days?”
Employee of the City Executive Committee: "There is also Friday, July 30. But there will not be many festivities on Friday, only Brest Ball in the theatre”.
