Brest tax inspection initiates 16 cases against illegal taxi drivers
Brest regional tax inspection filed claims against 16 drivers who conducted transportation of people without license, to the courts.
This was informed to the European Radio for Belarus by the Head of the Tax Inspection Ryhor Lebiadzeu:
"All those are"illegal" drivers, hackmen. Taking into consideration the 16 cars we claimed for confiscation in court, the people might understand they can earn some half a million roubles, and lose a vehicle".
However, the problem has not been solved in full scope. Ryhor Lebiadzeu says he personally conducts inspections at night. However, illegal drivers have become more careful and it's difficult to catch them.
