BRUY is accused of plagiarism, Central Committee promises to publish refutation
The Central Committee of BRUY has announced a contest for the best web site for the organization. However, the banner of the contest was announced to be plagiarism. It looks the same as the banner of “The prize of RUnet”. Only the text was changed and an abbreviation of the organization was added there.
ERB phoned to the Central Committee of BRUY and wondered what their reaction to it was. That’s what Alyaksandr Sazankou, the head of the information technologies department responsible for the contest, said:
“I do not know… We will ask those who made the banner … If it is true we will do everything we can and we will probably remove the banner. We will write a refutation… On our web site…
Who made the banner? A person who has no experience in it. We will talk to him and decide how to punish him… You know, we are a youth organizations so we can learn by our own mistakes”.
