Campaign against illegal dactyloscopy starts in Masty

Masty activists of the movement “For Freedom” have started a campaign against illegal dactyloscopy. Let us remind you that local men have started getting mass summons to Masty District Department of the Interior to be fingerprinted. Participants of the campaign are going to inform local inhabitants about the voluntariness of this procedure and the legal possibility to refuse from being fingerprinted. Masty inhabitants will also get acquainted with theses of the Criminal Code of Belarus concerning the dactyloscopic registration. 

“We are agaisnt the illegal procedure of fingerprinting and palmprinting of Masty inhabitants who have a legal right to refuse from it. We have sent a collective appeal to the head of Masty District Department of the Interior and demanded to explain the illegal actions of Masty police and the reason for the mass summons in order to fingerprint citizens”, - informed the regional coordinator of the movement “For Freedom” in Hrodna Region Ales Zarembyuk in an interview with ERB.
