Case of Rahachou policemen accused of girl’s murder starts today
Homel Province Court has started a hearing of a local policeman’s case today, on November 24. The policeman is accused of a girl’s murder.
The district police office was accused of a hooligan murder on October 1, reports BelaPAN.
Let us remind you that the tragedy occurred on July 6, 2010. The Rahachou policeman shot at a 22-year-old girl from a police car on Kupala night. She died in hospital without coming to her senses 10 days later.
The investigation revealed that the policeman was drunk at the moment he committed the crime. More than 30 employees and members of the admsianitrtion of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were subjected to responsibility after the murder. Some of them were fired and warnings were pronounced to the others.
