Celebrations planned for Independence Day in Minsk
A solemn assembly and a concert will take place on July 2 in Minsk devoted to the Independence Day. The State Dance Ensemble of Belarus, the best children's bands. Siabry and Chysty Golas bands are expected to perform. Women war veterans will sing their favorite songs, too.
Pop singers Dmitry Koldun and Piotr Yelfimov will also perform.
Due to the celebrations at the Palace of the Rpublic, parking will be banned for cars on Engles Streets and at Freedom Square near the old town hall.
