CIS economic court to hear Belarus' complaint over Russian oil import duties

The CIS Economic Court has accepted a complaint by Belarus against Russia over the duties on the crude oil supplies. Belarus says that such duties are in conflict with the international agreements on free trade and the customs union in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Community.

The hearing date will be set within 30 days.

Russia has supplied petrochemical products to Belarus with a new export duty since January 1, 2010.
