Council of Ministers suggest depriving Beltelecom of monopoly

The Council of Ministers has suggested amendments to the Law “On telecommunications”, reports TUT.BY. It has been decided to break up Beltelecom’s monopoly on the international traffic and connection to other countries’ telecommunication networks. The President rejected a similar bill two years ago.

Before coming into power, the project has to go through all the state hierarchy and to be signed by the President.
