Criminal case against Polatsk “Malady Front activist” is sent to court
A criminal case against a 19-year-old activist of the youth democratic movement Katsyaryna Salauyova was sent to Polatsk court on March 4.
Her friend Tatstsyana Shaputska informed about it. Salauyova is accused of acting of behalf of an unregistered organization. She may be fined, arrested for three months or sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment for it.
Let us remind you that Salauyova was announced suspected of two things on December 5, 2007: acting on behalf of an unregistered organization and disrespect for state symbols. The first criminal case is connected with “Malady Front” and the second – with events that took place on October 30 when strangers took the state flag down from Polatsk Office of Public Prosecutor, tore it apart and attached to the door of the office.
The second criminal case against Salauyova (disrespect for state symbols) has been suspended.
