Death toll rises over 9000 after China earthquake
Officials in Beijing have annonced that 9219 people died after an earthqake hit the south western province of the country, reports the Russian news agency Itar-Tass citing the information from China's Ministry for Public Administration. However, experts sayd the death toll could still rise, because rescuers failed to reach the epicenter. Hundreds of people still remain trapped in the wreckage.
