MPs representing all the fractions of the Bundestag sharply criticized the actions of the Belarusian authorities after the election, demanded release of political prisoners, and also stood for renewal of visa ban against those guilty in law violation.
The debates were initiated by the "Greens" party's MP Marieluise Beck, and their contents can be described by their name: "Belarus: to stop repressions, to impose sanctions for human rights violations, to support the civil society."
