Defenders of Old Hrodna are detained

8 activists got detained during the defense of the 18th century building. All of them arrived to Hrodna from different parts of the country.
Eight young activists approached the Tyzenhaus outhouse built in the 18th century in the morning. Now the building is being prepared for demolition. At the moment of the action builders were trying to get rid of the remains of the building’s roof.

The activists rushed into the building and demanded to stop the demolition. The builders called the owner of the house – the housekeeper of Hrodna eparchy. The house keeper called the police and the activists were taken to a local Department of Internal Affaires.
