Detainees to have their own guardian angels
A civil campaign called "Guardian Angel" has started. It is aimed at helping people detained at the peaceful protest action in Minsk on December 19 - beaten, hungry, ill. A detainee is allowed one parcel a day in the detention center, warn the campaign's organizers. Different people try to pass a parcel to one and the same detainee, not knowing each other, and they are refused. At the same time, another person can sit in a cell without warm clothes, because his relatives and friends live in another city or don't know where he is, say the organizers.
Some people cannot get to Zhodzina while someone goes there in a half-empty car. Acting together, we can avoid such mistake and render operative help, say the campaign's organizers.
