Entrepreneur Uladzimir Shyla gets 15 days of arrest in Salihorsk
Uladzimir Shyla, an entrepreneur from Salihorsk, has been sentenced to 15 days of arrest for taking part in "an unauthorized rally". On March 2, over 500 people took to the central square of Salihorsk to protest against the abolition of the social benefits. The rally was not okayed by the local authorities.
Shyla and nine other young people were detained shortly after he made a speech. The youth were soon released, but Shyla spent the night in a police custody.
