EU donates one million euro to create thyroid gland treatment centre in Belarus

It will happen according to the project “Territory oriented development of regions affected by the catastrophe at Chernobyl NPP”.
As ERB has found out, the European Commission and the UN Development programme has allocated 1.5 million euro to improve the quality of life for inhabitants of Chernobyl regions. One more million euro will be allocated to create an international scientific practical thyroid gland treatment centre in Minsk.

The centre has to open in the capital at the end of 2010.
